The Little Owl, New York

by: Pursuitist Jan 24th 4:15pm in Dining

New York City is all about great neighborhoods. In the heart of the West Villiage, you’ll discover The Little Owl. This tiny spot has a neighborhood vibe, with wonderfully original Mediterranean fare by Joey Campanaro. With only 30 seats, high ceilings and the enormous windows, you’ll get the feeling that you’ve dropped in on a well-kept secret. A month in advance, call for a cozy table near those big windows and try the juicy pork chop with Parmesan butter beans — one of their signature dishes. Also, we recommend their cheeseburger, which has been declared the best burger in the city. Service is also very attentive, as our wine glasses were never empty. The chocolate cake with espresso gelato is an amazing ending to any meal. The Little Owl offered one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time plus friendly service. This restaurant is a delicious delight.
